Hello doctor My grandmother is 82 and she has been in a car accident two and a half months back. She was on the back seat and apparently there was no injury then. We were about to take her to a hospital then but a doctor advised against taking such elderly person to hospital unless emergency and to give her painkillers.We followed his instructions and she seemed okay. But now she has been complaining of constant pain right side of her neck and head. Sometimes tje pain just goes away and at times she takes painkiller. Is it normal post accident?
