About Nepal Korea Friendship Municipality Hospital
“Community Hospital For Communities”
Nepal Korea Friendship Municipality Hospital was established in 1999, in the name of Kyung Hee Nepal Health Center with the purpose of providing various health services especially to the people of Bhaktapur and adjoining districts.
To provide the preventive, curative, promotive and rehabilitative health service is its motto. Passing the various phases from 1999, it has got the opportunity to be a 50 bedded general hospital by the decision made by the bill of the committee under the cabinet of Nepal Government on the date of 2009/09/14.
To reach this phase, KOICA (Korea International Corporation Agency) has played a vital role by providing financial and technical supports to stand as a well-equipped hospital in the Bhaktapur district.
To develop the status of this hospital, KOICA, Rose Club Korea and Madhyapur Thimi Municipality are doing common efforts and executive committees are committed to make it a hospital as per the people’s hospital run by the community.
